Detox Retreat
There is no better time than now to attend a juice detox retreat. Periodically one needs to cleanse in order to protect health, promote vitality and prolong life. There is no substitute for fasting as it is nature's method to cure disease at the root source which always involves toxicity. Fasting, yogic, breathing, bodywork, massage and exercise all assist the process of deep tissue detoxification and is more important than ever. Every drug, preservative and artificial additive you have ever ingested has triggered a major secretion of mucus which is now impacted on the walls of your colon and cannot be removed simply by eating pure foods. One has to rehydrate and loosen the solid waste from the colon and bowel lining.
Your own body will then naturally do the rest of the detox work through your blood, lymph, hormones and enzymes. But we do need to allow sufficient time for the natural system to take over. Three to seven days is usually enough to kick start you on your own journey of healing.
Align

Daily Hikes, Yoga and Movement therapy
On this retreat, you will slow down and come to rest. During this whole being wellness retreats, we will take all that is not essential out of your experience and nourish your mind and body at a deep level using mindful yoga, movement therapy, walking in nature and meditation. This will support the juice detox process. The farm is the perfect environment for total relaxation and rest where you can look forward to coming away inspired towards a healthy lifestyle.
This is a deep level detox using holistic therapies and in order for you to access your emotional and mental levels it is really important for you to first detox your body. You will lose weight if you need to and you will become strong. The daily activities, yoga, movement therapy and walking in nature help with your journey. If you have not practised yoga before and are concerned at your abilities, we will teach you. Our yoga classes are suitable for all levels of experience and you need to do is give yourself over to the process.
Fasting as a tool for self development
Fasting tool to access the deeper self, cleanse the body and purify the mind. This opens us up to a deeper connection within and without. The result is that we start looking at our lives and where we are as well as where we are going with a fresh and clear vision. With this clarity it becomes easier to guide and direct our lives into the lives of our own choosing.

The effects of this juice detox retreat are so far reaching. Not only will you become healthy, strong and fit but you will find a clarity of mind that you had not thought was possible. One of the most prevalent concerns on our retreats is that our guests are worried about hunger. It is a normal part of the process. Mostly, hunger does happen from time to time but it passes. We do provide 5 liquid meals a day and even thought there is no solid food, there is enough nutrients to get you through. You will be able to function quite well with the nutrients form the juices, broths and nut milks while taking part in all the activities.
Annie Wyatt
Annie is the founder of World Wide Retreats and runs holistic Yoga and detoxification retreats in South Africa near Cape Town and around the world.
Annie has over 20 years experience with cleansing practices both through diet and various yogic cleansing techniques. After experimenting personally with fasting, detoxification and working with food as medicine she shares what she has learned. She is passionate about her work and is particularly interested in the area of self development though caring for oneself and others. She believes strongly that when we care for ourselves, our lifestyle automatically improves.
Annie teaches Traditional Indian Yoga, a synthesis of Ashtanga Yoga and Hatha Yoga, based on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras (Ashtanga) and Hatha Yoga Pradipika. She studied in India at Yoga Vidya Gurukul (ashram) under Rishi Dharmajyoti. Annie teaches yoga as a means to develop consciousness and to make the mind body soul connection.
To add to the effectiveness of physical Yoga practice, she works with breath work to improve the function of the organs and boost the immune system.

The retreat is a wonderful way to reboot one’s system – physically, mentally and emotionally – in a very relaxed and nurturing environment. The very knowledgeable Annie, whom has years of experience, has meticulously designed every aspect of the retreat to ensure optimal results. Each day consists of a walk; a yoga class and a dance class; and ends with a meditation session. With loads of downtime to read, swim in the pool, or nearby dam, or sleep. Our group of 15, consisted of some professional pilates instructors and some complete novices, and every level was accommodated. The juices are fantastic – they’re both plentiful and delicious, however, the highlight was the infused almond milk, which was both soothing and nourishing, and such a spoil. The retreat is everything it claims it will be, and then some more. I understand why 30% of our group had travelled from all over the world (as far as Texas, London, Kenya and Italy) to attend.

Everything was well executed and Annie is very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.
